Economics is a challenging and interesting subject. The subject is considered as one of the important and mandatory subjects for the Arts and Commerce students. As a subject it requires hard work, clarification of concepts since it involves theory and mathematical elements. Little effort, repeated practice and skillful learning will sure fetch you good marks.
So, here are some tips to score well in economics:
TIP 1: Study Material- NCERT
You
must study from NCERT. It will be very helpful for you to understand
the concepts and practice them by solving practical questions.
Why I
am asking you to study those material, because CBSE always expect the
answers, from the students, in the same way in which they are teaching
you through their Study Material. So if you read these Material then you
will automatically start writing the answer in the same manner as it is
given in Study Material.
TIP 2: Reference Book
The most important thing, a Good Reference Book. You must buy a Good Reference Book from the Market to practice your Concepts. Usually few things come in mind when we talk about Reference Book like which book will be good for me? Is it enough for exams? Will it be possible to cover the entire book before exams? Etc. Etc. Friends let me tell you honestly that all the books available in the market are very good books for you to prepare. They all are very comprehensive & enough for exams. So don’t think that one book will not be enough for you. But yes everyone have its own way to explain the concepts so there are some books which are easy to read and there are some books which are not easy for self study but they are very conceptual and covering the in depth knowledge of the subject.
