How to pack when you’re traveling abroad

Have you ever traveled out of your own country? Have you ever felt the exhilaration of going someplace new? If you have, then you probably understand the headache that you get from packing. Packing is half the battle in international travel. You have to worry about the weight of your bag, room for clothes and souvenirs, and the list goes on and on. So, here are two simple ways to make your packing-induced headache go away!
  1. Make a list
Your list should include everything you will need on your trip. It should have two rows too check off; one for packing, and the other for your way home so you don’t forget anything. You should also leave spaces for souvenirs that you pick up in your globetrotting. Also, most long stay hotels have washers and dryers, so you can wash your clothes if needed. A packing list should look like this (for 7 day trip):
Clothes:
4 casual shirts
4 casual pants
4 pairs of socks
1 dress
1 bathingsuit
7 undergarments
1 pair of sandals
1 pair of dress shoes
Cosmetics/ Hair
1 hairbrush
4 hair ties
Case of bobby pins
(other necessary hair products and makeup)
Hygiene:
1 tube of toothpaste
1 toothbrush
1 deodorant stick
1 perfume/ cologne
1 bottle of mouthwash
1 reel of floss
Phone accessories:
1 Charger ( or two depending on how many devices you are bringing)
1 pair of headphones
(a device of course)
2.) Color coordinate all of your outfits
I know I always have a problem with shoes, so to fix it; I color coordinate my outfits. If I use the same color scheme, then I will not have to bring a different pair of shoes for every different outfit. For example, If I pack clothes that are mainly blue, then I should only need one pair of shoes to go with any of the outfits.
